Jayce is an 11-year-old with a ton of energy and a love for fishing. Whether it’s casting off the dock back home or hopping on a plane to float the Pere Marquette River, he’s happy with a rod in hand.
Jayce currently battles Alexander Disease, a rare neurodegenerative disorder that affects only one in one million children. In October 2021, we joined Jayce and his dad Tommy on their Michigan adventure. Between catching King Salmon, bowling, and grabbing ice cream in downtown Baldwin, it was undoubtedly a week to remember!
Part of its Outdoor Ministry, the AO1 Foundation uses its Mountain Movers program to serve children with life-altering medical situations by providing once in a lifetime outdoor experiences.
